This week’s watchlist sorts cleanly into three kinds of trade — and the sorting isn’t by sector or by ticker. It’s by the direction each name was already moving.

Four of the ten set up inside a downward-sloping pattern: three falling wedges (Vertiv, Rocket, Wynn) and a downtrend channel (PepsiCo). These are the counter-trend names — beaten down, coiled, trying to turn. A breakout here is a bet that the selling is finished.

Three are the opposite. Gilead and ONEOK are riding established uptrend channels, and Sirius XM is in a flag — the textbook continuation pattern that forms after a sharp move up. These aren’t turns; they’re trend riders looking to extend.

The last three — TG Therapeutics, Global Payments, and General Dynamics — are coiled in symmetrical triangles, neutral consolidations that could resolve either way but are set up here to break higher.

So three characters on one list: four trying to reverse, three trying to continue, three waiting to pick a side. Different bets, same trigger — a daily close above the buy level listed alongside each ticker.

Here are the 10 stocks we’re watching this week, in no particular order.

Important: Typically, these trades offer a risk: reward ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 in the next 6 months, which implies 2x to 3x rewards when compared to risks. So, be sure to set your stop-loss levels and target prices accordingly to manage your risk. In addition, these trade ideas are triggered using daily closing prices, not intra-day pricing. So, if you participate in these trades, make sure that you only buy the stock once its daily close is above the recommended price level.

That said, here are the top 10 stocks to watch for a breakout, in no particular order.

#1 TG Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: TGTX)

Sector: Healthcare • Biotechnology

Reason: Symmetrical Triangle Pattern Breakout

A symmetrical triangle is a chart pattern formed by two converging trend lines connecting a series of sequential peaks and troughs. These two lines result in the formation of a triangle that appears to be symmetrical.

A symmetrical triangle pattern is usually formed when there is indecision in the price movements and there is uncertainty among the buyers and sellers. This chart pattern represents a period of consolidation before the price breaks out or breaks down. In case a breakout occurs from the upper trend line, it is a strong bullish indication as it signifies the start of a new bullish trend.

Buy Level(s): The stock has currently broken out of a symmetrical triangle pattern. However, the ideal buy level for TGTX is if the stock closes above the immediate resistance level of $62.00. This is marked in the chart below as a green color dotted line.

#2 Gilead Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: GILD)

Sector: Healthcare • Drug Manufacturers – General

Reason: Uptrend Channel Breakout

An uptrend or ascending channel is formed when price advances between two parallel, upward-sloping trend lines. The lower line acts as support, while the upper line acts as resistance. A decisive breakout above the upper rail can signal accelerating bullish momentum and the continuation of the prevailing uptrend.

Buy Level(s): The daily chart shows that the stock has broken above the upper rail of an uptrend channel. However, the ideal buy level for GILD is if the stock records a daily close above the immediate resistance level of $173.20. This is marked in the chart below as a green color dotted line.

#3 PepsiCo, Inc. (Nasdaq: PEP)

Sector: Consumer Staples • Beverages – Non-Alcoholic

Reason: Downtrend Channel

A downtrend or descending channel is the price action contained between downward-sloping parallel lines. It is formed by two lines that are drawn by connecting the lower highs and lower lows of a stock’s price. Even though this is typically a bearish pattern, a breakout from the upper rail of this pattern is considered a good bullish indication.

Buy Level(s): The daily chart shows the stock trading within a downtrend channel and approaching the upper rail. The ideal buy level for PEP is if the stock records a daily close above $140.00, which would confirm a bullish breakout from the channel. This is marked in the chart below as a green color dotted line.

GD – Symmetrical Triangle Pattern Breakout

Ten names, three characters. Four counter-trend turns — PepsiCo, Vertiv, Rocket, and Wynn — working out of falling wedges and a downtrend channel, where the bet is that the selling has run its course. Three trend continuations — Gilead, ONEOK, and Sirius XM — riding uptrend channels and a flag, more of the same. And three coiled triangles — TG Therapeutics, Global Payments, and General Dynamics — set to break but not yet committed to a direction.

The bet differs name to name; the confirmation doesn’t. A clean daily close above the buy level listed alongside each ticker — not the intraday tap, not the open, the close. Most of those triggers sit within two or three percent of last close, with Vertiv the clear exception at roughly six percent out; that one needs the wedge to actually resolve before it’s in play.

We’ll watch the table this week and let the names sort themselves out.

Happy Trading!
