This Stock Looks Ready for an Uptrend

Cheniere Energy, Inc. (NYSE: LNG) seems to be poised for a price surge as per its latest charts. LNG is an energy infrastructure company that primarily engages in the liquefied natural gas related businesses in the United States. It owns and operates the Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Cameron Parish, Louisiana; and the Corpus Christi LNG terminal near Corpus Christi, Texas.

Bullish Indications

#1 Symmetrical Triangle Pattern Breakout: The daily chart shows that the stock had recently formed a Symmetrical Triangle pattern. #5 Bullish Stoch: The %K line is above the %D line of the stochastic in the daily chart, indicating possible bullishness.

#6 Flag Pattern Breakout: The weekly chart shows that the stock was in an uptrend after which it started consolidating and was in a narrow range. This is a classic flag pattern and is marked in the chart in pink color. Currently, the stock has broken out of the flag. A Flag is a continuation pattern. Whenever a stock breaks out of the flag pattern, it typically continues its previous trend (uptrend in this case). The stock is also trading above its 50-week and 200-week SMA.
